Superman Would Be Proud Of This Blade Of Steel.

Superman would be proud of this blade of steel. If you are looking for something made in the USA, then this is the blade for you. This is very inexpensive and will do the job that you expect it to do. These cost about one dollar a blade, and you can usually find these at any Harbor Freight store.

Description
This blade is made of a Molybdenum high speed steel and is heat treated to maintain its sharpness. This will cut through very hard steel or any wood objects. This measures 12” in length and is ½” wide and is 1/32” thick. This blade has one 1/8” hole at each end of the blade; it is a universal blade that will fit any type of hacksaw. There is 20/24 teeth per inch with a variable pitch to the teeth.

Experience
I have been using all types of hacksaw blades for over thirty years and I have found these to be the cheapest blade on the market. This does not mean that they are the best but they will cut through just about anything. I have had problems in the past with these breaking before the job was done. There are a lot of blades that are better and will last a lot longer, but if you have a low budget then you can purchase a bunch of these to get the job done. I have cut through stainless steel, carbon steel, locks that have rusted shut, 2 x 4’s, I have also used this to cut a hole in drywall. As you can see these blades are very versatile.

This will help you further your budget and will allow you to purchase more for the money. If you buy a more expensive of a blade there is no way to tell if that blade will last longer and not break under pressure. You can take just as big a chance of the cheaper ones breaking over the more expensive ones. They do come in different teeth per inch so you might want to figure out what kind of blade that you need. I have found that if you are careful with this blade it could be just as valuable as each the other one.

Conclusion
Superman would be proud if he had one of these in his tights. The lasting effect of these blades will put you to the test because you will have to work up a little sweat to see if these work for you. If you are on a low budget job I would highly recommend this blade but if you can afford the more expensive one then purchase that one. Three stars for this blade, there are better ones out there.
