I have been doing weight watchers off and on for the past few years and have found a few recipes that are definite keepers. One of them is this recipe for hearty turkey chili. Even those who aren't too careful of their calorie intake will LOVE this chili!
This recipe makes about 16 (1 cup) servings so you might want to either cut the recipe down for those you are preparing the meal or freeze some for later use. The recipe is also a bit more soupy than traditional chili. To thicken the sauce up a bit, I added 1 can of tomato paste. I also added a bit of fat free shredded cheddar and a dollop of fat free sour cream for additional flavor and texture.
Whether you stick with the original recipe or you decide to add your own spin on it, I'm sure it will become a favorite!

You'll definitely notice a difference in the meat but it's really hearty and flavorful. Let me know what you think of it.
Nice! I am starting to buy more ground turkey but can't think of too many recipes that would work out with it. Can you taste the difference between turkey and beef with chili? I'm a huge chili fan but I'm not too obsessed over the meat aspect.
