Wild at Heart

This book blew me away.

John Eldredge candidly speaks of the inner man that undeniably lives deep below the surface of every male.
He speaks primarily of the hearts of men and the "William Wallace" they were born to be, but he also touches on a few key points that make this a MUST-READ for women.

Women: If you want to understand your husband, boy-friend, brothers, father, or just men in general, read this book. If you can't understand why some guys are so "nice", and others are so "angry", read this book.

Men: If the frustrations and proper-ness of life have you up to here -- in stress and anger, if society is placing unrealistic expectations of gentility and "niceness" on you, if you are addicted to alcohol, sex, drugs, or anything else, this is for you.

Is this a spiritual, religious, Christian book? Yes, it absolutely is. Is it only for Christians? No, it absolutely is not.
John Eldredge speaks honestly and directly of the hearts of men, the hearts of women, and the needs of both.

I cannot possibly recommend this book enough, nor can I elaborately detail the immense way in which this book has impacted my view of men or the incredible writing that is contained within the cover.

John Eldredge is one of the great writers of his time, and I have several of his books.

I can give this book no higher than a 5-star rating, but if possible I would give it 6.
