High school girls today are spoiled. They have tons of palatable options to choose from when it comes to drinking. Sure, there are certain girls who will swig back a Guiness with no problem, but most don't exactly thrill at the taste of beer and hard liquor. Today, they can throw back a Smirnoff Ice or a Bacardi Silver or a million other vaguely fruity "malted" drinks in colorful bottles. But when I was in high school, it was Mike's Hard Lemonade, or ZIMA. Sure, it tasted kind of like dishwashing soap and came in a heinous bottle that looked like something from the retro future. But the important thing was, it didn't taste like alcohol, but it still got you drunk!
Coors stopped producing Zima on October 10th, 2008 and on that day, a part of my childhood died.

Zima! I had a really hard time ever taking this stuff seriously, as I was in a love affair with malt liquor by the time I discovered it. But my cousin liked it and she would pour a bit of Midori or Chambord in it. I found that kind of tasty.
