This is the autobiography of Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor. She rose from a low income family in the Bronx to become a supreme court justice.
Being from the New Haven area, I was particularly interested in her years at Yale Law School and how she overcame her hesitancy to answer the teacher's questions.
The setting was well described as were the obstacles in Sonia's way but she was determined and overcame every obstacle. I wasn't familiar with her before her appointment to the Supreme Court but this book increased my admiration of her.
