Best kids bicycle seat I ever used

First kiddie bicycle seats I remember were made for mounting over the back wheel, which left the kid staring at an adult's back!

The iBert seat is good for up to about 4 years old, and made to take a infant just as soon as they can sit up. You can see from the pictures that the child sits facing front and encircled by the adult's arms. The seat is mounted on the handlebar stem. I am impressed and glad that it passed all the safety regs because it is inspired to have the kid right out front like this. I packed it in my suitcase and took it to England.

I love this 'iBert" seat and so do our newest family members (3 yrs old and 13 months)...; one at a time of course!  We've done some brilliant rides, especially along the canal, leaving the city (Nottingham) far behind. I am pretty sure that little kids wouldn't have such a sustained good time if they were riding in back.

About this topic

"The safe-T-seat is more than just a child carrier, it’s 6 years work of a mother and father who were disappointed with the family bicycling options available. The bicycle trailers were great for us but terrible for the kids. They couldn’t see anything but dirt and rocks and when we closed the front flap to keep the muck out of their faces, they got too hot. Plus, it was BORING for them...We didn’t like the rear-mounted seats because our kids just got to see our backsides and it was tough to talk to them. Again, NOT FUN..."
