The Best Camera I've Ever Owned!

I've been through a handful of point and shoot cameras over the past few years and I've been pretty disappointed with most of them but I finally found one that I love! The Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS7 is awesome. It does everything I need it to. It takes great pictures in any light and even takes HD video. I attend a lot of basketball games and sporting events and I like to be able to zoom. The 12x optical zoom takes care of that.

Pros:
  • Affordable
  • 12x zoom
  • HD video
  • Quick load time
  • Big, clear display
  • Intelligent Auto setting
  • Face Recognition
Cons:
  • It's a little bulky
As i mentioned above, I attend a lot of sporting events (Clipper games mainly). Here are some photos I took from my near-courtside seat:

I also sat near the top of Staples Center for a Los Angeles Kings game and here's the 12x optical zoom at work:

The most impressive feature is the HD video. The videos surprising come out better than this youtube linked video but nevertheless come out extremely well when posted on youtube.

Recommendation:
I'm not really a camera/photography guy but I like taking pictures and like the idea of having a point and shoot to carry around with me. I highly recommend this camera for anyone who is looking for an affordable, high quality camera. I just wish I would have discovered this camera sooner!
