Hendrick's Gin & Stirrings Tonic
I was touring marketing websites and the online portfolio from one agency delivered a beautiful product label. I had to know more, not about the marketing agency, but about the product. The company website was festive, fun, nearly inspiring. So then I had to meet the product itself. Off to the liquor store where, surprisingly, I found but one bottle on the shelf. Dusty. Sad. Lonely. Hendrick's Gin is strong without hurting you, flowery and bright in a way that I find delightful (and I generally find "flowery" off-putting). It's not harsh the way lesser gins can be [and while we're at it, if people would stop drinking lesser gins, this excellent liquor could possibly have a shot at enjoying a better reputation!]; it sort of seeps into you, cheery-like, and leaves a hint of cucumber, rose and juniper in its wake.
