They're sweet and good for you, and useful in a lot of things. We can use them for pies, sauces, they taste great with some sweet spices or dips, and are available very widely. They're ubiquitous as hell, even being officially saluted as the fruit of the state of New York. Usually I'm put off of things that are ubiquitous, but for a fruit as important and useful as apples, I'll grant an exemption.

   The past few days in London Town have been hot, sticky ones. I have been constantly searching for ways to stay cool and refreshed.
