I first found out about Fage yogurt from a health-conscious roommate back in college. When I was younger, I always hated the watery, sugary plastic containers of Dannon my friends ate.
But Fage is something a bit different. This Athens, Greece-based company makes Greek-style yogurt, meaning that they strain the stuff several more times than the generic commercial stuff. The result is a thicker substance, dense and creamy. It doesn't have that abrasively sugar-y taste, but complements almost any condiment you throw in.
For me, usually I toss in a handful of granola, some berries, a tablespoon of honey, and it's like eating a very nutritious dessert chock-full of calcium goodness.
Unfortunately, it's a highly caloric treat (even the low-fat versions). If you're having this as a breakfast, then definitely, you want to forgo that bagel. My advice? Get the Total version (the whole milk base). All versions are high in calories, if you're going to go there, get the best, fattest stuff. :)
