A Quick Tip by Sharrie

I especially like those from Japan. If they are from Australia, I like Pura. If from Canada, I like Sealtest although that has changed a little over the years.

I have no idea what the cows in Japan are being fed but the fresh milk from Japan is so fresh that I could actually finished a whole carton in one day! While many are staying clear of anything Japanese now due to the concern with radiation from the nuclear power plant leaks, I have no problem with them as long as I could get them in the stores!

Fresh milk does a body good! Is that popular in Japan? Or do they pasteurize it often?

About this food

Milk is a white liquid produced by the mammary glands of mammals. It is the primary source of nutrition for young mammals before they are able to digest other types of food. Early-lactation milk contains colostrum, which carries the mother's antibodies to the baby and can reduce the risk of many diseases in the baby. The precise components of raw milk vary by species and by a number of other factors, but it contains significant amounts of saturated fat, protein and calcium as well as vitamin C. Cow's milk has a pH ranging from 6.4 to 6.8, making it slightly acidic
