Complete Nutrition Bars with Whole Soy

Lots of soy but not too much joy

These little health bars were alright, I even bought them twice. Then they quickly got old, not to mention expensive. The bars are tiny, but they are dense - hence pretty filling for their size. I just needed some healthy snack for mid morning and late afternoon at work, they worked great until I realized they were too expensive. I later replaced them with raw nuts. They have six flavors, I had the mango coconut, it is quite particular and I don't think everyone would like it. The unadulterated ingredient list is pretty good, quite pronounceable actually.

The good:
  • Great taste, variety of flavors
  • Dense, rich consistency
  • Wholesome ingredients
  • Nothing artificial
  • Healthy snack on the go
  • Packaging makes you look cool
The bad:
  • Expensive
  • Small
  • Studies show that too much soy is actually not good for you, eat in moderation
The ugly:
  • They are actually pretty, nice package design

Ooh, this sounds great. How does it compare with Luna bars? These days, my healthy snack is Galaxy Granola, which is granola baked with apple juice so it's less fatty.

I am sorry I did not reply right away. I haven't tried Luna bars, so I can't compare. Lately I have actually been snacking on Trader Joe's 'Go Rah Trek Mix' bars, they are only 99 cents for a six pack!

I've got a Trader Joe's opening up from me across the street! I'll definitely check those out... after I read your review on the Go Rah bars! ;)

These bars are hit and miss. I've tried a lot of them and I'm still on the fence as to which ones are the best.

SoyJoy bars are simply not that good. Not that good, that is, if you want something that has a little flavor and doesn't taste like cardboard.     I am sure SoyJoy is a pretty healthy snack but it doesn't do much for the taste buds. The  peanut chocolate chip flavor is one of the best and most edible of the SoyJoy bars I have tried. It's still rather dry, bland, and boring, but at least it has a slight decent flavor and I don't find myself choking it down reluctantly …
