First choice in the vending machine.

Twix, why are you so awesome? Let me count the ways: 1. You make me feel better when I'm nauseated, sad, or just need to knock out some hunger pangs. It's like getting two for one.

The Seinfeld plot developed around this candybar (The episode where Jerry is buying a new car and George, along for the ride, has a Twix purchase stuck in the dealership's vending machine) is hilarious! And the reason why it's such a great episode is because we can all relate, right? Who hasn't sacrificed a hard-earned dollar to the vending machine gods, only to have the treat of choice flop forward and become wedged against the catapult and the glass pane? It's infuriorating! Twix is a chocolate bar made by Mars, Inc., consisting of a cookie (biscuit) finger, topped with caramel and coated in milk chocolate. Being somewhat smaller in width than other confectionery bars, Twix bars are typically packaged in pairs. Twix was first produced in the UK in 1967, and introduced in the United States in 1979.

Twix was called Raider in Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France,Germany, Greece, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and Norway for many years before its name was changed in 1991 (2000 in Finland, Denmark, Norway, Sweden and Turkey) to match the international brand name. In North America Twix is produced in Cleveland, Tennessee.
