Best RTS game of all time if not best game of all time!

I have the highest standards when it comes to games.  I usually say 1 out of 100 games are "OK" and 1 out of 1000 is good.  So when I say this game is probably the best of all time, you know that means something.  There's a reason why this game is so popular in korea that the pro players are treated like celebrities there.  This game is all about strategy and controlling your army correctly (micro managing).  If you love games of skills and great gameplay, then this is the game for you.

I used to remember back in college when we would play til morning at the net cafes.  We would battle all night 4v4 and after each game, we would go out for a smoke and talk trash to the other team and start pointing out everyone's mistake and what they did wrong.  The classic comebacks are the best like when 2 guys get eliminated early and it becomes a quick 2v4 and somehow the the team of 2 out plays the other 4 in the end... classic game I tell you.  Of course this game is a big reason why I ended up taking 6 years to get my BS degree in CS.  No regrets...

Wow. What a legend.      Starcraft came out nearly 12 years ago, and is still being played till this very day. StarCraft is a military science fiction real-time strategy video game by Blizzard Entertainment and the first product in the StarCraft series. It was initially released for Microsoft Windows in 1998. A Mac OS version of the game was released in 1999, and a port to the Nintendo 64 was released in 2000. The main storyline follows a war among three galactic species: the adaptable and mobile Terrans, who are descendants of Human outcasts from Earth; the hive mind arthropodal Zerg; and the psionic humanoid Protoss warriors.

StarCraft was the best-selling computer game in 1998 and won the Origins Award for Best Strategy Computer Game of that year. StarCraft was listed on IGN's "Top 100 Games of All Time" featured as seventh, and in 2006 received a Star on the Walk of Game at Metreon, San Francisco. It is especially popular in South Korea, where professional players and teams participate in matches, earn sponsorships, and compete in televised tournaments. As of May 21, 2007, StarCraft has sold 9.5 million copies worldwide
