Other than Banyan Tree, this is the other resort that has Spa facility in Shangri-la (aka Xianggelila). Rooms ranging from Standard to Suites. All suites have fireplace which is kinda great considering the cool weather in Shangri-la. I love the restaurant in this resort too. Excellent meals including the Yak steamboat & western cuisine like seared tuna salad. Prices are very affordable. Excellent choice.

A Quick Tip by Sharrie

I'm writing this QT from my room at Songtsam Retreat in Shangri-la. It's part of the Accor hotel chain and is the 2nd most expensive hotel in Shangri-la. The most expensive being Banyan Tree. However, this is locally owned and managed by the locals. I think they are doing a great job & I've indeed enjoyed my stay here.
