I absolutely love taking photos of sunrises and sunsets, so much so that I have created an extensive portfolio of images documenting many of the most beautiful scenes from my own town and neighboring towns. Other than the 18 photos shown on this topic, I have uploaded over 120 photos on Facebook, so for those of you who are friends with me over there, be sure to check them out.

They are fun. We have a lot of hills and cliffs in our area that you can get great pictures from. Plus, the house I live in is on top of a hill, so I can go out on the roof and take awesome pictures from there too.

Gorgeous! You lucky man, you. I remember living in Tahoe and in the mountains, you get the best views of sunsets from higher up!

I saw your facebook album. Great job. it's interesting how these look different on the East Coast as compared to the west coast, where we have ocean sunsets. You have ocean sunrises.

I haven't taken any sunrise pictures at the ocean yet. Too far away to go to see a sunrise so early in the morning. LOL!
