Childhood Yesteryears

If there is anything in the world that makes one forget the complexity of this world we live in & also the easiest way to bring out the child in all of us, it is this 12 min show (it felt longer than that though) which I wished would never end!!!

3-D in a theater full of kids. You'd think it's a kids show! In some ways, it is. It brought me back to my childhood when I first came to love these Disney characters so much that my world simply revolved around Donald Duck, Mickey, Goofy & some of the everlasting cartoons that many of us are familiar with. It's like walking down memory lanes, many wonderful tunes came to mind. I actually had the feeling I relived my childhood years; things that I've completely forgotten or at the back of my mind came flashing through that 12 mins! It's quite an experience!

I saw it first at Magic Kingdom in Disney World, then again at Hong Kong's Disneyland. It's a marvelous experience and wonderful to come to realization of the many happy moments in my past. It's what an adult could do when feeling depressed or bored with life... simply go in for a 12-min therapy at the Mickey's Philharmagic. That would be a lot more conducive than going to see your psychiatrist, as far as I'm concerned. Trust me, it works! You'll find the wonders of Mickey's extend beyond a 2-D picture. It is a 4-D experience for the price of nothing! Why not? ;-)

If there is anything I wish, I wish Mickey's Philharmagic is just next to my office, LOL...

that is so true, briniging out the child in all of us makes us forget our problems. It is a condition that we all need to attain at times, especially in this problematic world. Nicely done! oh I will e-mail you later...

Fun to watch and experience for all. Links well to Fantasia, the 3D makes it interactive and Donald is a character.

Wiki

Corporate Description: Mickey's PhilharMagic in the Fantasyland area at Magic Kingdom theme park is a 12-minute 3D movie starring Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck that features scenes from classic Disney films projected on one of the largest seamless screens in the world.Even before the show starts, you can't help but be awed by the massive 150-foot-wide screen. Once you put on your "opera glasses" and the action starts up—in glorious 3D—the colorful animation and soaring music combine to create a dazzling spectacle that will put a smile on the face of any fan of classic Disney animation. When Donald Duck decides to "borrow" Mickey's sorcerer's hat from Fantasia, he plans to conduct a magical symphony. But things do not go as expected, and he ends up on a whirlwind tour of some of the most memorable scenes in Disney animation history. Be on the lookout for a few extra special surprises! Many classic Disney Characters were animated using computer graphics for the first time—specifically for Mickey's PhilharMagic. Whenever possible, the original animators were brought in to supervise the new animation.Mickey's PhilharMagic is located near Cinderella's Golden Carrousel, next door to Peter Pan's Flight.
