Port Orleans French Quarter: A Great Theming Experience

The first resort that I stayed at on the Walt Disney World property was in 2004 and it was the Port Orleans French Quarter Resort. This moderate resort on the Walt Disney World property is themed just as you would see Bourbon Street on Marti Gras, minus the large loud crowds.

What I loved first about this resort was the theming!  The lobby looks just like a warehouse where they keep all of the decorations for Marti Gras and once you step outside, it looks like a small town. The buildings are on the sides a street with a sidewalk to walk on.  The landscaping, fountains and overall calm feel of the resort really made the trip exciting for me!

I gave this resort a 5 out of 5 because it made such a good impression on my as my first resort stay! It was this stay that brought me back to stay on property again for my other visits!
