6 Guns, Release 30 March, 2010 Shane Van Dyke directed starring: Barry Van Dyke Sage Mears Geoff Meed Category: Western
Will and Selina Stevens are having a meal with their two young children. It's Will's birthday and the birthday cake is still on the table. Their home sits by itself, about a mile from town.
Five rugged men ride in, kill Will, rape Selina and kill their children. One gunman who was ordered to kill Selina, had a flash of compassion and let her live. The men are led by a well known gangster, Lee Horn.
A short time later, a bounty hunter, Frank Allison, comes to town. Selina has become the town drunk but he takes pity on her. After learning who he is, she asks him t teach her to shoot.
Horn and his men learn that Selina is still living and make a decision about not leaving any witnesses.
The acting wasn't good and the plot seemed to be taken from High Noon. When the sheriff learns the gang are returning, he can't get anyone to help.
It also didn't make sense about returning to kill Selina because Lee Horn was killing people all over the area and people knew he just killed a sheriff and his posse.
