Not where, HOW do I begin this?

How do you write about something like this?  I've heard people talking about how the anime series Excel Saga is incapable of being reviewed but I had no problem in the past.  The new Watchmen movie was being unfilmable, but I've skimmed the book and think they did a decent job.

THIS though, is where it gets tough.  I don't think it's possible to accurately even TALK about this movie to someone who isn't already plugged into the fanbase that the Cartoon Network show already had going into see this.  You cannot talk about this movie to any sane person without either:

A.  Having them look at you like a nut
B.  Losing them completely
C.  Both of the above.

Having qualified your reactions now, I will attempt to tell the story.

A milkshake, french fries and lump of hamburger meat live together in New Jersey and...

Now think about it, did that just turn you away?  Okay, I'll continue.

are looking for a piece of excercise equipment that should never be assembled.  It gets assembled though and transforms into a giant machine that goes on a rampage through the city.  The Aqua Teens (as they are called at times) must stop it and along the way discover their origins.

Now that may have sounded easy but typing it with a straight face was the hard part.

The movie has the same look as the show as does a lot of the animation.  A still background with the same animated characters with very few facial features or movements in foreground.  A little more was spent on some flashy effects but thats it.  The story is a lot like the story of one of the episodes, it looks like one of the episodes.  This in short is just a really long episode of the show.

The show is a stream of conciousness babble at times and presumably written while under the influence of SOMETHING.  If they were clear headed while writing this I would be surprised and impressed.  That or they had Family Guys manitees writting it for them.  I'd lie if I said that the movie wasn't funny, but I'm in on the joke from being a fan of the show and the show is funny too.  I hate to keep bringing up the show but like I said this movie is more or less an episode of the show, only longer.  I am a fan of the show and love it and really enjoyed the movie, but anyone else is going to be lost.  Those who are lost should seek the DVD's or late night show before watching or if they're interested in the show, should watch the movie.

The best way to sum this up is you either are a fan of the show, or you aren't.  If you are a fan you saw this and had a good time.  If you aren't you would read the title, then get a perplexed look on your face and after seeing something else, went out to get a burger and fries, stared at your plate and thought for a minute, "they made a movie with this."

When I first saw the movie poster for Aqua Teen Hunger Force Colon Movie Film for Theaters, I was walking into my local theater to see Grindhouse. Unfortunately, I didn't have the opportunity to see the Aqua Teen film (or Grindhouse a second time) during the entire week in which both features screened there. Despite its alluring painted movie poster (another King of the Mountain variant), I later discovered that I didn't miss much; this isn't the kind of film that's significantly …
