A Quick Tip by djevoke

I'm glad that I didn't fully listen to all the naysayers here and checked this out for an afternoon matinee today. That's not to say they're wrong because this is no Hangover or even a Get Him to the Greek but, I found it a perfect brain candy movie that gave me a few laughs.

I thought JT was HILARIOUS- his Simpatico song was great and Diaz did a good job as did the other cast mates. I had never heard of Lucy Punch and thought she did an amazing job as the passive aggressive goody two shoes. I bet if I was a teacher, I would've LOVED this movie as I'm sure that Elizabeth is exactly who they'd like to be at times. Yes, in all her hung over, pot smoking, cursing, movie showing selfish glory.

My favorite part? When she was grading the papers and wrote "Stupid....Stupider...Are you FUCKING kidding me? (then scratched out fucking) Jesus Christ....etc" on some practice tests she was grading. So, yeah, it isn't an Oscar winner but, it acted as the perfect brain candy for a rainy afternoon. As long as you don't expect too much, I think you'll enjoy it.
