Bladerunner. Number 97 of all time?

My rating for this movie is a +1 only because it didn't deserve a -1. I wish there was an even O on the rating scale.  A 1982 production of life in 2019 in Los Angeles . Starring Harrison Ford as "Decker" a cop (Bladerunner) forced out of retirement by the department for one last assignment that only he could handle. To kill the four existing Replicas (Robots that look and act human) that have come back to earth to find a way to extend their inevitable short life span of four years. The effort to make this movie futuristic was pretty good for 1982, but the over use of direct flashing light through windows and open areas of the buildings in a lot of the scenes made everything else very dark and difficult to see. I feel the roles of Roy Batty, played by an amazing actor Rutger Hauer, and Pris, played by an extremely cute and young Darryl Hannah (two replicas that seemed to have developed the ability to fall in love with eachother) easily the best acting and story inside of this film! I loved their performances as robot killing machines that are believably sensitive and in love.  The final monologue delivered by Rutger Hauer (Roy Batty) at the end of this film was gripping, intensely real, heart warming and ten times better than anything Harrison Ford could have dreampt up on his best day! One last interesting point for me in this movie was the role of Rachael. Another replica that developed into Decker's love interest as the story unfolded,  was pretty well done by actress Sean Young who I later realized was the now legendary Lois Einhorn in the original Ace Ventura Pet Detective! That was great for me! I got a good laugh and I was impressed by her acting. My overall lack of love for this movie comes from not enough depth in the story about the characters, and the overall weak, monitone, and bland performance by the ever praised Harrison Ford........Come to think of it just about everything I've seen from Harrison Ford is pretty monitone! Sorry to say not my favorite super star or movie.
