Raunchy, Violent, and 70s...y

This movie has the three Bs that make any movie great: brutal violence, brief nudity, and badass cars.  In the disotopic future world of 2000, vehicular manslaughter has become the national pastime, and the yearly Death Race kills hundreds, including most participants and almost all spectators.

In the brave new world, of course, everyone is much more sexually liberated - a naive assumption of 1975 filmmakers? Maybe, but I'm calling it a win - both for David Carradine, who gets rather close with Simone Griffeth, which totally justifies having to wear the silly mask for the rest of the film.

This tripped out adventure is totally worth a watch if you're into mindless, but fairly tasteful brutality.  The premise is far fetched, but irrelevant - an excuse for showing scantily clad women and dudes hitting people with cars.  But who needs an excuse?
