This is another movie I fully watched for the first time in so many years, and it's still a hoot. Just as the title would imply, it's a comedy about two guys that are rock stupid, and the Farrelly brothers did a great job with the humor they attempted.

This movie has a lot of funny scenes, but one of my favorites was when Lloyd reveals to Harry that he sold Harry's dead parakeet, Petey, to a blind kid, then they show the blind kid just petting the dead bird that obviously had its head taped back on.

If you like "dumb" humor that's done well, watch this one.

yeah. This was really funny. Too bad all they could do was a quasi-prequel to follow it up.

I haven't seen the prequel Dumb and Dumberer, and I really have no ambition to see it.

A classic 90's comedy, and "dumb humor" done right. 84%

Please note that this review is referring to the original cut of the movie, not the “unrated” edition. Exactly what it says on the tin.

This is a movie about two guys. Ones name is Harry. He is dumb. Lloyd is the other and he's dumber. Put them together and you have Dumb and Dumber. My all-time favorite comedy!

Two lunkheads venture from New England all the way to Aspen CO to return a mystery breifcase to a lovely woman and encounter kidnappers, angry truckers and battle each other's stupidity. Carey is great and Daniels works great as a sidekick.

Delivering exactly what its title promises, this celebration of stupidity was Jim Carrey's 1994 follow-up toAce Ventura: Pet DetectiveandThe Mask. The film pairs the rubber- faced wacky man with Jeff Daniels as the not-so-dynamic duo of Lloyd and Harry, dunderheads who come into the possession of a briefcase containing ransom money that is intended for Mob-connected kidnappers. Lauren Holly costars as the woman who lost the briefcase, and with whom Carrey falls in love (both in real life and as his moronic on-screen character). As Lloyd and Harry make a mad dash to return the briefcase (never aware of its contents), the bumbling buddies attract Mobsters, cops, and trouble galore.
