Frequency is one of my all time favorite movies.  I have always been fascinated with the idea of time travel, alternate universes and physic occurences and this one fits right in.

Early in the movie Dennis Quaid's character, a fire fighter, is killed in a huge fire.  His son grows up missing his dad and finding it difficutl to get on with his life.  Through a freak set of circumstances featuring a ham radio and the Northern Lights, the son is able to talk with his father 20 years previously before he dies.  Determined to prevent his father's death, the son sets in motion events that trigger other changes in his life.  It's the old time travel theory that changing one event, no matter how small, sets in motion an avalanche of changes, many of which have a negative impact on the people involved.

For those of you who have not seen the movie, I won't give away the ending.  But I will say that it's nail-biting, edge-of-your seat stuff.

See the movie.  It's worth your time.
