Based on the hit anime series from the filmmakers who gave us the fantastic "Death Note" live action adaptations, I am very hopeful to see this first chapter in the "Gantz" franchise. I am very curious as to how they managed to make the effects. I hope for a faithful rendition of the characters.

I'm not touching this with a ten foot shoryuken. I thought the anime was terrible.

I only saw a few episodes of the anime, and then this was given to me as a gift. It does give me some hope since it was made by the guy who made "Death Note" (live action). Hopefully they made improvements while giving tribute to the characters.
