I wasn't a big fan of "The Departed." I wonder if I would like this one more.

I think you will enjoy this one more. Scorsese's almost took this movie scene-per-scene but it was missing some things such as the heart and soul; this movie had strong Buddhist undertones and the female characters (despite their limited screentime) had a significant role to play in the narrative. :)

"Infernal Affairs" is one fascinating movie with a great premise. This has been a reasonably popular movie that had generated huge buzz when it came out, and since been talked, compared and still highly regarded as unsurpassed by countless fans worldwide.
