Your right its not as good as the first, but it aint that bad.
I think most people didnt like Ironman 2 beacause this movie although called Ironman focused mainly on Tony Stark. The stress from the US Government, the stress of being Ironman and running Stark Industries, and lets not forget The Arc reactor in his chest is killing him. But even through all this we still got a bunch of action and lots of laughs. Ironman 2 was a great movie, im not a fan of sequels but this one unlike most out there I thought was well done. There was lots of comic book fan service, Don Chedale played Rowdy really well (although I prefered Terrance Howard) Robert Downey junior is just as charming as he was in the first movie and Gwyneth Paltrow played Pepper with a little more attitude this time around. Samuel L Jackson.......I didnt really like his performance as Nick Fury, but i still think hes the best man for the job.
Overall great movie its not as bad as some people make it out to be, and Im looking forward to Ironman 3 *wink, wink*

I wasn't as big of a fan of the first movie as most, but am actually looking forward to this one. thanks for the review.
I just got back from the theater watching this and I agree completely. Some fan boys won't like the fact that the film is Iron deficient, but Favreau does what he does and does it well.

The first Iron Man is and will always be the better film, but Iron Man 2 is still a superbly entertaining, albeit somewhat uneven film tailor-made for the summer audience. Superhero movies have a strange formula to them that, for the most part, has served it well for the past decade. Forgive the parlance, but I can't think of a better name for an irresponsible man who gets loaded, straps on a suit of destructive armor and starts using his laser beams to trick shoot fruit and vases in a crowded room full of people.
