Slacker buddies hang out at a mall all day and engage in silly shenanigans. Thats about it. Considering Smith's strong introduction with Clerks which was a movie with a lot to say, now we have a movie with nothing to say.

A movie with so little to say, that I have little to say about it

A year after Kevin Smith made his landmark debut with Clerks, he was given something of a small budget and asked to come up with another movie. Clerks could be seen as a catharsis for Smith and others who slaved away in low paying and high irritating jobs and this movie Mallrats, really doesn't say anything.
