Im so tired of these crappy love of movies. Theyre boring, predictable, and unoriginal. Guy meets girl/girl meets guy, theres love at first site but maybe for some reason they cant be together however somehow a relationship of sorts is built and when things are going good and looking to take off Bamm! theres this big conflict that threatens the potential relationship. When all is lost, gloomy, and theres no hope anymore the guy/girl comes back like a knight in shinning armor to save the day and the relationship and they live happily ever after. Thats all you ever have to know and youve seen all these movies that seem to envoke tears from anyone with an excess of estrogen. Why would you want to watch something that made you cry? I dont get it. Perhaps cause Im a guy this genre doesnt appeal to me much, but if Im going to be forced to watch these crappy movies at least add some density or some action to them. Blow up the wedding cake or something. Gosh!

I love the scene in the karaoke bar. That … more

Dermot Mulroney is always nice to look at. ...the last line of the movie. I think the very end was the best part of this film. The rest of the time the ridiculous angst filling was a bit wearing on me. Julianne (Julia Roberts) learns … more
When Julianne made a deal with her best friend Michael to marry each other if, by the ripe old age of 28, they had not yet found their true love, she never really doubted it would come to pass. But jealousy rears its ugly head when she discovers he's engaged to another woman, and, what's more, that she's perfect for him. What's a jilted bride-to-be to do? A hijinx-filled romantic caper.
