Hot women, crazy action and cheesy melodrama. Another Wong Jing production.

Naked Weapon is a reboot of Wong Jing's Cat. III hit Naked Killer.  This time around the story revolves around young girls who are trained to become professional killers from an early age.  Maggie Q and Anya co-star as two of the girls who become best of friends during their "training".  To describe this movie wouldn't do it justice because like all of Wong Jing's films they have to be seen to be believed.  The action direction by Ching Siu-tung is it's usual high energy stylized wire and kung fu work.  The film takes a poke at all of the films in the genre such as The Professional, The Matrix, Naked Killer, Raped By An Angel, Battle Royale and The Killer, mix in some melodrama, throw in a bit of romance and revenge.  A total guy movie if there ever was one.  I mean you have girls, kung fu and action.  What else can you ask for?  Co-starring Daniel Wu, Chen Pei-Pei, Dennis Chan, Benny Lai and Almen Wong.

Fun stuff from Wong Jing.  He's a filmmaker who knows that the audience is never satisfied and he adds a little of everything to please everyone.  IF you enjoy this movie then I suggest you watch God of Gamblers, The Royal Tramp and Fight Back to School III.

Tony Ching Siu Tung (An Empress and The Warriors) directs and choreographs the fight sequences; the film is an entertaining mix of martial arts action with …
