This movie was hilarious to me. I was very entertained during the whole time. When I looked at te cover I knew it would be hilarious. It ended up being so good to me that I watched it 3 time!... in 2 days (:
I never really got to see a movie trailer for this movie but when I was at the library looking for movies, it caught my eye.
I would give this movie 7 out of 10 stars and would recommend this movie to people who like comedy. But, if your sensitive and winy and are just gonna complain about mall cop stereo types, or how "sad" the movie "really is" if you look at the "deeper meaning". Then DONT WATCH IT!(:

Dimwitted mall cop who wants a shot at the big time police work while trying to catch a flasher. Not as funny as it could have been but the finale makes up for it big time.

This film is for Seth Rogen fans. Those of you that love everything Seth Rogen does, are just waiting with bated breath to see the next stupid thing that he does and rip up laughing, this review you can skip. The Seth fanboys know they will love this movie, no matter what he does they will laugh. I like Seth Rogen as much as the next guy, this film, not so much.     The film starts off reasonably well. Seth Rogen plays Ronnie, a mall cop that is very serious about his job and …

Unfortunately all the funny scenes are in the commercials and after being plastered with the preview for the last few months until it's release  I found Observe and Report to be lacking.  The movie poorly walked a line between stupidity and darkness never wanting to jump into either area for too long.

About this movie

With sublime awkwardness, Seth Rogen throws himself into the role of a deluded, socially inept shopping mall security guard. Ronnie Barnhardt (Rogen) protects his little kingdom with a mixture of grandiose passion and borderline incompetence; he can’t catch a flasher in the parking lot or a thief with inside connections because his prejudices and desires cloud his ability to see what’s right in front of him--all he can see is the trashy cosmetics salesgirl Brandi (Anna Faris) who thinks he’s nothing but a creep. Though he resents the intrusion of a police detective (Ray Liotta), Ronnie decides to pursue his true dream: Becoming a cop so he can carry a gun. The plot isn’t what matters inObserve and Report--this comedy is about letting talented actors create strange characters with enough roots in reality to make them very, very funny. Even the supporting actors shine with a mixture of weirdness and banality, including Michael Peña (Crash) as Ronnie’s sidekick who turns out to have a secret life, and Celia Weston (Junebug) as Ronnie’s boozing and wildly inappropriate mother. Writer/director Jody Hill (The Fist Foot Way) has a gift for pushing an ordinary moment into comic exaggeration, though he doesn’t always find the right balance; every now and thenObserve and Reportveers into territory that’s funny, but undercuts the movie’s internal reality, and there are several moments of unexpectedly graphic violence that will...
