Sequel to the original film has Robocop back in action to put a stop to a powerful new narcotic sweeping through old Detroit as cops are on strike and OCP continues it's push towards a total remodel of the Motor City. Not quite as violent as the original but still has plenty of harsh moments and it's nice to see at least one great Robocop adventure on the bigscreen.
Robocop 2 (1990) was a sequel to the surprise and twisted black comedy hit Robocop. This is a very dark sequel. The humor that made the first film is missing and it is overtly violent. A pretty sadistic movie that's lacking in many places. Too bad they had to make a sequel and produce it without the elements they made the first film a true classic. A dark and grim sequel to Robocop written by comic book writer Frank Miller. Some of his original ideas were scrapped because they were considered "unfilmable". But the film retains it's bleak atmosphere.
