A true action thriller!

Ronin does a pretty good job of keeping me on the edge of my seat. It's packed with lots of action, explosions, and endless car chases that appeal to my masculine side more than a steak dinner. What's even better is the film's setting in France, which adds a mysterious and exotic flavor and somewhat softens everything into a more classy form.

Robert De Niro delivers yet another excellent performance. You won't be disappointed with his acting and language skills as he masters everything required to make Ronin an action-thriller masterpiece!

Ronin is an action-thriller movie directed by John Frankenheimer and written by J.D. Zeik and David Mamet. Released in 1998, the film was a success and was popular for its many intense car chase scenes.

The film, starring Robert De Niro and Jean Reno, tracks two of several former special forces and intelligence agents as they unite in force to recapture heavily guarded suitcase. However, all agents must navigating through constantly-shifting loyalties and alliances in order to reach their prize of securing the suitcase and receiving their cash reward.

The film is named after Ronin, who were samurai without lords or masters juring Japan's feudal period.
