Pacino plays a blind retired army colonel. During a school break, he is baby sat by one of the students. The student has a problem in that he is facing being expelled for a prank against a professor that he did not commit. Pacino is a very dynamic character and he takes the student to New York for a little fun. During the time in New York, the rough Pacino starts to become like a father to the student.
