Considering how I seriously had nothing to do and my sister was watching LOTR: ROTK and Ive seen that tons already, I figured, why not? and went ahead and watched the rest of it
to my great disappointment.
Episode 22: The plan Kanone proposed goes awry and Rio, Ryoko, and Asazuki face certain death. How will the escape this time? Ayumu makes his decision and suddenly know where to go. And the revelation the Hunter reveals at the end
is not a surprise (at least to me).
Episode 23: Oh its a rainy day. But dont worry, tomorrow is another lovely day. Even though everyone is depressed and Madoka is being lead around by Kanone. And of course, everyone is talking but they arent making sense just rambling on and on.
Episode 24: Were back to where we started, one of the Blade Children testing Ayumu, Ayumu having his little revelations and taking the time to say The melody of logic will always play the truth and whatnot. And more bombs waiting to explode, of course.
Episode 25: Finally, its the last battle of wits and only one can be the victor. With Ayumu given no possible way out, how can he win? And will he find the answers he seeks?
I hate to spoil this for everyone, but I was so glad when Hiyono slapped Narumi in the face. It was so annoying everyone acting like they were. The Blade Children I could see, but he had no reason to be acting like that. Once again Hiyono proves her awesomeness. #24 was just too far-fetched for me. Ill buy the first bomb, but the second and how its to be disarmed? No, sorry, I dont see the connection. Maybe its too out there for me, but either way, this is just the same thing as the very beginning of the series and that didnt make me any happier.
Am I going to ruin everything for you by giving everything away? YES! I don't know the last time I've been so disappointed with a series. Were any of my questions answered from the last review? No. None of them. To be honest, Ive decided this whole thing was dumb. Yup. A waste of my time. I never found out jack. I dont get what the deal with the Blade Children was, why they cursed, where they came from, why needed Ayumu, if they were saved, why these Hunter guys wanted to kill them, blah, blah, blah. Interesting ideas to start off with, but nothing was followed through. Nice try guys, but you're gonna have to do better next time, no rolled coins, please drive through.
No preference to Japanese or English. I dont have any problems with the English version, as everyone does their part and no one sounds too awkward and such. Whatever floats yer boat.
The opening and ending songs are still the same, so theres nothing new to state about that. Within the episodes, there are a few new pieces here and there, but all in all, its still the same basic clips played in their typical spots. And Ayumu plays better piano than Eyes, so there.
The animation was always good, not excellent, but its about on par with the series. This didnt end well, so I guess its fine they werent excellent anyway.
Best part of the whole series? Hiyono singing and tickling Ayumu. Yeah, thats about it.
Im going to go do something with my life now.
