How would I characterize this movie? Lame, stupid and pointless perhaps? Maybe that's too cruel as the movie really tried to get it together. Too bad that the plot and the silly dialogues sunk this turkey.
Basically this was the Exorcist done over again, and frankly why would anyone even attempt it...been there done that, you know? The movie really took over no new ground whatsoever on the whole stigmata thing. What is really bad is that this movie could have gone somewhere but just got bogged down with silliness.
Basically I just can't get into Patricia Arquette, she always plays the same kind of character, and she sleepwalks through her films. I rate her up there with Melanie Griffith and that ain't too high.
Overall synopsis of this turkey is it's not worth seeing it, even on video. Sorry folks but don't waste your money on it, better luck next time.
