The Fast and the Furious gets two thumbs up!

Well this weekend I saw The Fast and Furious which  I wasn't too sure about. But I have to say that I thoroughly enjoyed the movie. The storyline in the movie just flowed which is good because there is nothing worst then going to see a movie and it drags until it gets to action scenes. There a lot of unexpected twists that just keep getting better and better as the movie progresses. The only part I would change about the movie is the director bringing another dimension to vin diesels character because he doesn't say much and he kinda reminds me of hired muscle. But if your looking to see a movie full of thrills, fast cars, hot girls and guys this is worth the price. Plus its a great movie to see whether your on a date, going out with your boyfriend/girlfriend, hanging out with the girls, or chilling with the guys....

Thanks for the review and I am glad you enjoyed the film. Please be careful in the future to post a "spoiler" warning if there is something significant that the reader may not want to know in advance (the part about one of the main characters dying)

Dominic Toretto: "Just like old times."     Short Attention Span Summary (SASS):     1. Dominic Toretto (Vin Diesel) pumps adrenaline, this time in the fuel hijacking business.   2. The action is high-octane and highly impossible, but immensely enjoyable.   3. Things start to get too hot   4. The gang splits up, but things don't work out so well for at least one of them.   5. Toretto's out for vengeance (haven't we heard …

Pros: Great Action and good chemistry between Walker and Diesel.     Cons: Plot has some holes.     The Bottom Line: If you love the series, then this one is for you.     High adrenaline films have always been a signature of the summer movie season and with a bevy of blockbusters lines up for the summer months, Universal has the opening salvo with the very impressive “Fast and Furious”.     Although the fourth …

About this movie

THE FAST AND THE FURIOUS is a nitro-burning joyride that makes outstanding use of special effects, innovative camera work, and a nonstop throbbing soundtrack. From the opening sequence--a high-speed, high-tech truck robbery--the film never drops below the red line. Roaring along at breakneck speed, Dom (Vin Diesel) and his crew meet on the streets of L.A. each night to show off their high-powered racers. When new guy Brian (Paul Walker) wants to add his fuel to the fire, he can't cough up the cash to race, but offers up his car as collateral. In their tiny jacked compacts, Dom, Brian, and Edwin (Ja Rule) burst into a high-gear race with Brian nearly beating perennial champion Dom. But in the final moments, he loses the race and his car. Brian's debt is quickly cleared, however, when he saves Dom both from the cops and from a potentially violent encounter with Johnny Tran (Rick Yune), a rival gang lord. Dom takes Brian under his wing--a decision that disgusts his gang but delights his sister Mia (Jordana ...
