I just saw the film today and blown away as always by Almodovar. Banderas is wonderful in the film. So great to see the master and the student back together.

Banderas is what drew me to this film. And he puts on an excellent performance here. In fact, all of the actors and actresses did well.   It is an excellent film too but it is still getting a -2 rating from me. The problem, as far as I'm concerned, lies in the scripting. It is psychologically repulsive and unhealthy as far as I'm concerned. Somewhat like The Black Swan which many love.        Both movies illustrate one thing to me, that psychosis …
