The 2008 Woody Allen Movie

Makes you feel like you went on vacation to Barcelona

Passionate, romantic, spontaneous, provocative.

Although Penelope Cruise appears half way through the movie, she makes up for it by her Oscar-winning performance.

The film attempts to discover what happens if a person drops all reason and follows his/her sexual instincts.

Some may find it liberating, others offensive.

It goes deep into the issues of relationships, uncovering ugly secrets of picture perfect marriages. The film tries to answer the question: Should you follow your heart and instincts in an endless pursuit of love, or should you settle for a secure reasonable match?

Two polar opposites, girlfriends Vicky and Cristina find themselves away from their element on a summer vacation in Barcelona, where their principles and beliefs are tested against a backdrop of sweeping Spanish country-side and Art Nouveau architecture.

I didn't find it offensive, either, but I know people that would. I guess the better word to use would be 'objectionable.'

I loved this film and didn't find it offensive at all. It was very 'real' if that makes sense. I hope I NEVER end up in a relationship like those three.
