I like Marlee Matlin so I thought I would give this movie a shot, besides it was the only thing on that time of night I hadn't seen before. I understand the idea of the movie but think they tried to play on Fatal Attraction and Basic Instinct too much. In fact, Basic Instinct was mentioned so much, that was how the detective (Jeff Fahey) finally solved the murders. Marlee, for once, played the bad guy in this movie and it was nice to see her in a non-whitewashed role.
Marlee is a big wig prosecutor, walks the evil side and shows quite a bit of well toned flesh in this movie. Of course, it was obvious that there had been bad things between her father and herself, because of all the little flash backs you kept getting. Throw in a psycho mother and a cross dressing brother, and you have a happy family!
Jeff Fahey, lonely widowed (by suicide) policeman is investigating a pair of murders and Marlee's fingerprints (not literally of course) are all over these murders. Of course love blooms and that leads to trouble.
Marlee played a unique role as a hearing person pretending she was hearing impaired. Unfortunately the movie had a bad ending that left you wanting something different. In fact, the entire movie was somewhat of a disappointment, lighting was poor, scenes did not flow well, acting was less than stellar. But Marlee looked HOT in those leather clothes!

A BASIC INSTINCT style thriller, JUSTICE has Manhattan detective Frank Chaney (Fahey) obsessed with finding the person behind a series of brutal murders. The always alluring Ms. Matlin plays prosecutor Katy Wesson, who quickly becomes both Chaney's lover and his number one suspect. As he tries to get at the truth, his feelings for Wesson make him lose his edge and his grip on the case.
