Scarry, suspencful and not cheesy! Yes, horror movies are still watchable. I rented it because im an Eliza Dushku fan, and I wasn't even sure what this movei was about, but it turned out I lovded it!
It was quite scarry, and I rarely get scared. The part where the kids are hiding under the bed in the kilers house, while they drag in their dead friend and prepare her for dinner is unbelievable......I had to pause the movie, to catch my breath.
Great stunts, and good acting from ALL of the costars.

Im planning on watching it again, because I really enjoyed it. Woods movies can be really scarry......

** out of ****    As a film that includes cannibalistic hillbilly psychopaths as one of its major pleasures, "Wrong Turn" is one of those many movies that just-plain reminds you of "Deliverance" from the minute it starts to the minute it ends. I'd even say it's a knock-off of "Deliverance" all-together; but at that, it's a self-aware "Deliverance" knock-off, and we don't get many of those.    Director Rob Schmidt tries his best to make the film interesting, …

Wrong Turn
Chris Finn is late for an appointment and stops at a gas station to use the phone (doesn't work) and checks out a map that shows a dirt road that leads around the large traffic jam blocking the only highway to his destination. Taking this backwoods shortcut, a short way up the road he literally runs into another vehicle in the middle of the road. Two couples and the requisite single female are stranded there when their car ran over a strand of barbed wire seemingly placed in the road on purpose. …

Pros: Eliza Dushku     Cons: ..     The Bottom Line: This one will keep you awake while you're watching it        More hot babes, psycho killers and bad choices. Life goes on. First we find our hot hunk doctor-wanna-be, stuck in traffic and needing in the worst way to get to Raleigh, I assume N.C., for an interview. Got your choices, wait in the traffic jam and be late or follow some unpaved, dirt road, through the mountains and …
