I saw the trailer for the Deathly Hallows when i went to the midnight showing of Eclipse, and it was almost enough to make me loose focus on the watching the movie all together. When it was announced that the movie would be shown in 3-D i was immediately on the phone texting away to all my Harry Potter buddies with the news ( and no i wasn't texting during the movie cuz that's just outright rude! it was only during the previews i swear!) With all the action that happens in the last Harry Potter book i can see lots of opportunity for some amazing 3-D stuff. The only thing that has me concerned is where they are going to make the split between one film and the other? I was mostly disappointed with the Half Blood Prince movie. It was really badly made and followed the plot in the book even less than any other movie they have made yet. So i'm hoping that someone smacks the producer over the head and makes him read the book since it is the same producer and director as the Half Blood Prince.

What did you think of this review?

I sat next to a girl at the movie when I say Eclipse and she says that the last book has so much detail that she says that splitting it into two movies will be worth it. I know I'm looking foward to it too!

Can't wait to see the movie. The trailer certainly seems dark.

I really can't wait for this film & I truly hope that it does the book justice. There's so much death & darkness as well as truly emotional moments that change the entire thematic landscape, which will mean that this one really isn't for the kids. It should also mean that we'll get the closure to the series that it deserves & that we deserve. I'm still not impressed with the idea that they've decided to turn this into two films, because likely that means they'll add to & deviate from the story.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, the seventh and final adventure in the Harry Potter film series, is a much-anticipated motion picture event to be told in two full-length parts.

Part 1 begins as Harry, Ron and Hermione set out on their perilous mission to track down and destroy the secret to Voldemort's immortality and destruction—the Horcruxes. On their own, without the guidance of their professors or the protection of Professor Dumbledore, the three friends must now rely on one another more than ever. But there are Dark Forces in their midst that threaten to tear them apart.

Meanwhile, the wizarding world has become a dangerous place for all enemies of the Dark Lord. The long-feared war has begun and Voldemort's Death Eaters seize control of the Ministry of Magic and even Hogwarts, terrorizing and arresting anyone who might oppose them. But the one prize they still seek is the one most valuable to Voldemort: Harry Potter. The Chosen One has become the hunted one as the Death Eaters search for Harry with orders to bring him to Voldemort...alive.

Harry's only hope is to find the Horcruxes before Voldemort finds him. But as he searches for clues, he uncovers an old and almost forgotten tale— the legend of the Deathly Hallows. And...
