For those of you who are not in the know, a rom hack is where a video game is taken and alterred by someone with items, characters and sprites rearranged to create a new game with the existing engine. Some are made into fun and enjoyable experiences, some are made dickishly hard to be a challenge and then theres THIS one which only rivals the infamous Kaizo Mario hack. (PS, "Kaizo in Japanese means "asshole" meaning that the hack was INTENDED to annoy you. Mission accomplished.)
The video, features a man with what I presume is a strong East Coast accent playing the game and IMMEDIATELY from the start realizes that this is not a regular Mario game. It's one of those Rom Hacks that exploits every jerkish move imagineable to screw with the player by having them make difficult jumps with pixel perfect landings, and the more this guy plays the more enraged he gets proclaiming that parts of the game are "caa caa" to saying that it's worse then things like an episode of Family Guy or Panic at the Disco to straight up swearing out of anger. Even moments where he's stuck on a rather mundane part of a level it's this guys commentary that keeps you watching.
The man playing the video, I've heard many stories about him even hearing that he died and I do not know who he is short of a rumored youtube channel where he plays Pokemon games. I do know that he gave the world this video and anyone who knows of it, it's probably in they're favorites list on youtube. A link for the video appears below and I warn you that salty language appears throughout, so listen with caution:
The game itself is nothing special short of it's ability to drive a player nuts for not knowing every geeky game exploit of the original Super Mario Bros game to play the game. There are videos showing people completing this game in record time, but you don't wanna watch that, you want to watch this guy wish that he has mastery of invisible block technology.
Infamous youtube video that showcases a man who plays through a hacked Mario game and meets interesting challenges and comes up with interesting profantiy and insults for the game. Listen at your own risk since at times he carpet F Bombs throughout the video.
