Fresh and Scary

I can't argue with freshness and the Air Witch Freshmatic delivers that.  I put this one in my bathroom and it delivers as promised.

You can set the bursts to for different intervals of time.  If you choose the maximum of every 36 minutes, the unit is supposed to last up to 60 days.  I can definitely tell if the unit sprayed recently b/c the scent is lovely.  I think the timed spraying does a better job than the warming units since I always seem to get used to those and don't notice the scent as much.

The downside of the interval spraying is that it scared me.  I was standing right next to it when it decided to SPRAY.  There is a "puff" sound and visible spray that comes out of the top of the unitI jumped and laughed at myself for a bit until it happened again a couple of days later,  Then I started thinking about being the line of fire for this thing and it lost a few "cool" points with me.

In my opinion, the unit works in two ways:

1.  The sprays effectively get the scent into the room

and

2.  The unit will scare you so that whatever oder is in the room is the least of your worries.

Maybe you should check out these Glade Plugin Scented Oils, it would eliminate the whole spraying thing, which I've experienced before.  A few weeks ago, I got stranded in a flea pit hotel in the middle of nowhere and woke up to all these Airwick Freshmatics spraying at me at different intervals.  There were three of them in the room!

Are you kidding? THREE of those suckers going off at random times?? That sounds like a terrorist torture/questioning technique! :)

Thank goodness I was super out of it when I passed out and managed to sleep through the night, it was only in the morning when they started freaking me out. The sad part is that in this particular flea pit, not even THREE air fresheners could mask its funky scent.
