Digital is digital. It really does not matter how cheap or snazzy looking an HDMI cable is, digital is digital when it comes to video and sound. The one issue that can arise and MAY have some differences in speed is when you run an HDMI through a system running to the HDTV (or vice versa) or when you connect it to an Ethernet input/output. Also, there may be differences in image quality depending on your TV's refreshing speed and how far the source is to your TV monitor.
Well, I could test this HDMI cable in the Ethernet, but as something to run Bluray 1080p video, 3D and sound, this amazon basics is flawless and is worth getting for its cheap price. The picture quality is as amazing as the more expensive HDMI cables I use. It also does not have any lag times when it comes to sound and playing video games. I tested this with my THX certified HDTV but I mainly got this for the HDTV in the bedroom, and it serves its purpose real well. I currently own two of them, but the other one is a 6 foot cable.
Good HDMI, great price! (got it free so it is even better) The material is pretty easy to handle, looks sturdy enough and so I cannot complain.
