I am incredibly fussy when it comes to facial products.  Not because I am a product junkie or a brand snob, but because my skin is dry and sensitive and freaks out if I use the wrong product.

As some of you know from previous reviews, I am a new mom.  That being said, I am not feeling my most attractive these days.  My body has changed drastically and nothing seems to fit properly.  I don't get out of the house too much these days seeing as it's so cold, so I dress in yoga pants and tanks every day - doesn't add to the glamour, you kow what I mean?  So imagine that you're already feeling like a slob and then WHAM! Out of nowhere, a zit pops up on your chin and flaky patches plague your forehead. So not fun.  I've tried a lot of products and so far, Kiehl's had been my favorite, but even that quit working for my recently.

Let me preface this by saying that I am not eco-girl.  I do not hug trees, I don't recycle as much as I should, and I do not wear all natural fabrics every day of the week.  I wish I had the gumtpion to do so and I am getting better at living "greener" but this had nothing to do with choosing Burt's Bees Orange Essence Facial Cleanser.  I bought it because it smelled good and because it was all natural - I figured all of those man-made chemicals probably were wreaking havoc on my skin.  Turns out I was right!

After only a week of using this cleanser, my skin is normal.  No flakes. No zits. No tightness after washing.  The cleanser smells fabulous, takes off my makeup and keeps my skin looking refreshed and feeling soft as a baby's bottom.

The main ingredient in this cleanser is orange oil.  In skin care preparations, orange oil reduces puffiness and discourages dry wrinkled skin. Both the oil and the peel are used to stimulate circulation, clear blemishes, and increase perspiration, thus assisting the release of toxins from dull or blemished skin. The peel is used as a natural exfoliator.

All in all, a wonderful cleanser.  All natural, smells delicious, does the job and comes with a great price tag.  Thanks, Burt's Bees!

Ditto to what other users have written; thank you so much for reviewing this!  I picked it up at Target after reading your review last week and have been using it since.  It makes my skin look radiant, plus, the product itself smells heavenly and reminds me of the lemon filling inside of jelly-filled donuts!

If you've got any facial moisturizer recommendations, please do share! :)

Thank you so much for this review! My skin goes crazy sometimes too... Zit here, zit there, patch here , patch there.. So annoying. I will buy this today when I get off work.

Update: So I did end up picking up a tube of this stuff at the local pharm. During the washing, my face felt "greasy", so I thought this didn't work. But after my face was dry, it didn't feel greasy at all. I also avoided that "tight" feeling that I usually get with any other facial cleanser. Thanks for the rec!

Great review. I thought about buying this a few weeks ago but didn't. I might have to go out and buy some now :)

Thanks for this! I am on the market for a new facial cleanser, and I've loved Burt's Bees products in the past. Gotta make a run to Walgreen's later!
