I got these cables straps with the intention of using them to tie my bike while moving it around. For the most part they worked great, although they are not very good for the smaller diameter strappings (less than an inch in diameter or so.) They are very easy to attach and take off, yet they keep your stuff firmly fixed and attached. The bright colors help to visually distinguish them from the most of the items that you'd usually tie up. Aside form not being useful for the small diameter objects, I also don't like that they easily soil, and the velcro attracts dust and other particles that diminish its effectiveness. Most of this stuff can be washed away, but not all. This makes these straps less than ideal for "dirtier" objects, such as you would find in the garage or a similar place. Nonetheless, for their price they are a great solution for most strapping needs.
