Pro-like camera for the amateur, yet serious photographer!

This is a great camera if you don't want to spend tons of money on a camera, but you don't want to jeopardize the quality and control over of your photos. This camera is small enough to stick in a purse or a day pack. It's not too heavy and is the perfect camera for any trip. It has manual tools that give you ultimate control over the final shot. The flip screen alows you to play with the angles of your composition and again gives you more control over the final product - this is why I like to say this is a great camera for the amateur, yet serious photographer. It's a great buy for sure! The quality of the images is great and it's a reliable product - with a pretty good warranty. Plus, they say that once you know how to use a Canon you can use any camera. Canon is the best - hands down.

They have tons of cool tools like panoramic options, coloring options, color spotting, etc.

I agree. Powershot cameras are all typically very good. Like the photos you posted.

I did! Glad you like them. Photography is a serious hobby of mine. Actually, I'm displaying 20 of my photos for the first time tonight!

About this product

Together with the Canon PowerShot A610, the PowerShot A620 replaces the wildly popular PowerShot A95. This model incorporates a 7-megapixel CCD, and both have a modestly updated body design, use the same 4X zoom lens as that of the Canon G series, and boast a 2-inch LCD.
