Pros: Excellent picture clarity and sound quality.

Cons: Only comes with one hand set.

The Bottom Line: Give your friends something you talk about, you will enjoy showing this off.

What will they think of next?  Just when you thought that it could get no better when using your phone, they come up the technology to have a picture come up on the digital photo frame along with their corresponding phone number.  How cool is that?  This phone usually sells for $60.00 or more, but we found it online for only $40.00 and that was to have it shipped to our home.  This came within one week of the original order date and was very well packaged to protect it from any damage from the shipping.
Description
You have the choice of either an interchanging silver or black outer border frame, that will easily snap along the outer edges, it also comes with a black cordless handset, and everything that it comes with you will have to assemble, plus one telephone line, battery pack, metal stand, and even a 6 inch telephone cord for a wall mount.  No need to purchase an AC adapter because that also comes included, this comes with everything that you will need to start up your new digital photo frame phone.  The actual size of the viewing area of a picture is 6 inches by 3 ½ inches.  The clarity of these pictures that show up is almost lifelike.  This whole setup is not much bigger than a regular cordless phone that has no digital frame hooked up to it, it is 12 inches wide by 4 inches deep and by 7 inches high, and only weighs a little over 2 pounds.
Features
There are a lot of nice features that you will receive when you purchase this.  There is a lot of new technology such as blue tooth capability and the fact that you can use four cordless handsets for this to one base.  It is a single line operation and has, of course caller ID, call waiting, a handset locator button, intercom, and LCD display just to mention.  This also has a digital Security System that will protect your system from any false ringing or unauthorized access to your phone.  Of course you have the usual talk button, the caller ID button, a redial button, a tone button, the menu button, mute and ringer off button, a phonebook button, a format button, a pause button, and a flash/exit button.  At the bottom in the center, there is a 1/8 inch hole that acts as a microphone.

On the display screen there is a few buttons at the lower right hand bottom corner, they are a menu/OK button, exit button, navigational buttons up and down, and a charge indicator light.  Hooked up to the left side of the display is where the actual base is, that is where you will recharge your handset and that is where the page button is located.
You will be able to program your photo frame by using SD and XD memory cards or Sony memory sticks.  There is a 32 MB internal memory that will hold approximately 100 photos.  This photo frame comes with four pictures already downloaded and this is what you will see until you start installing your own photos.  Once you do this you will no longer see the four photos that your frame comes with.  You will have to set up the picture/caller ID.  You can use the caller ID records to find up the number with the pitcher by navigating with the button that is located on the right hand side of the screen.  If you accidentally put the wrong picture in, not to worry, you can delete the existing picture and replace it with a new one.  You can also use this picture frame as a slide show when the phone is not in use, plus when not in use you can also have the power saver selection turned on.  There is a selection that you can pick from for the frame on/off time or the brightness, plus you can select different languages from English, French, or Spanish.  There are also four levels of volume for the ringer and the different tones that you can choose from.  This also has an option that will allow you to answer the phone as soon as it rings without pushing the talk button.
Experience
We were so excited to get our new technology with this cordless handset and picture caller ID that we could not wait to set it up.  This is very easy to setup, once everything is put together you’ll have to charge your phone for a minimum of 14 hours.  As soon as we plugged the ac adapter to the outlet the photo frame started doing a slide show with the four pictures that already came loaded into the display.  The pictures that were coming up were very bright and had crystal clear clarity.  Once the phone was charged we were able to set the time and the end date that shows up on the screen in the lower right hand corner.  When a phone call came in, the number would show up in the lower left hand corner and just as clear and large enough to see without glasses.  Sometimes these phones with color IDs make the numbers so small that it takes a magnifying glass to see them, even with glasses, but that is not the case with this one.  You can also use this as a night light, because when left on through the night, it brightens up the whole room.  We have talked for several hours, 10 to 12 hours at a time, plus we did notice that we can go a whole week with leaving this off of the charger before having to charge it up.  But, remember that was if you just let it sit on the table and did not touch it.
Warranty
There is it limited warranty on this that of course covers any defects and parts or workmanship.  This warranty will last one year from the date of purchase but, remember you have to keep your receipt.  I’ve also found out that you should keep your box, so that if something does happen to it, you have something to ship it back in.  If for some unbeknownst reason there are any charges you will be liable to cover that part of the warranty, you’ll also have to insure your product just in case it gets lost when shipping it back to the manufacture.  Usually they will not fix it, they would just ship you a new unit.
There are quite a few things that the warranty does not cover, these include batteries and damage from misuse or neglect will not be covered.  If you modify your new phone, or if this is purchased from outside of the U.S., then your phone will not be covered.  The other thing that will cause this not to be covered by the warranty is a lightning strike.
Conclusion
For $40.00 I do not think you can go wrong with purchasing this phone and digital frame set up.  Usually you will spend at least that much on a regular cordless phone if not more.  This is very attractive looking and if you get tired of the silver frame then you can just interchange it with the black frame.  You will be the envy of all your friends when they see the actual picture of the person you are talking to and the corresponding phone number show up at once.  We have had no problems whatsoever to speak of since we have started using this and I can highly recommend that you will enjoy this product.
